Wynonna Judd has Announced the Back To Wy Tour for the Fall of 2023

Wynonna Judd, 59,  has announced a new, solo tour. The “Back To Wy Tour” will begin on October 26th in Indianapolis, Indiana, and will visit 15 cities. She will be performing songs from her fist two solo albums apart from The Judds. Performances will follow the albums track to track and conclude with Judds’ classics.

Two Solo Albums Performed Back to Back

Wynonna is celebrating 40 years in country music with this tour, having hit the road in 1983 with her mother, as they rose to country stardom. Her self-titled, debut album, “Wynonna” from 1992 produced three number one hits on the Billboard Hot Country Singles Chart including, “She Is His Only Need,” “I Saw The Light,” and “No One Else On Earth.” Her sophomore album, “Tell Me Why,” produced five, top 10 hits on the Billboard Country Music Charts including, “Tell Me Why,” “Is It Over Yet,” “Rock Bottom,” and “Girls With Guitars.” The single, “Tell Me Why” also crossed over to the Billboard Hot 100 and Adult Contemporary charts.

Tour Visits Austin and San Antonio

Pre-sale tickets are available to her fans today, and general sales will begin on August 25th. She will be in San Antonio on November 9th at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, and then, will perform here in Austin on November 12th at ACL Live at The Moody Theater.

In a press release, Wynonna said to her fans, “Getting to share this tour with the fans who have been with me for 40 years, means the world to me. As I sit and listen to these two records, I’m flooded with the memories that surrounded that time in my life. The fans held me up and supported me through that season of change in 1992, and I now see ‘herstory’ repeating itself. This music healed me then and is healing me now. The circle of life continues…”
